  • Meet Ms. Zhou, a distinguished art educator with a passion for nurturing creativity and fostering artistic expression. With over a decade of experience teaching in both the United States and China, Ms. Zhou brings a wealth of international perspective to her role. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Studio Teaching from Boston University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Ms. Zhou's dedication to her craft has been recognized through the Distinguished Art Teacher Awards at the United States Art Contest from 2019 to 2023. As the Lead Teacher at 101 Art Studio since 2018, she has mentored many art teachers, empowering them to become strong educators within their communities. Her proficiency in art education was acknowledged by Boston Public Schools, where she was evaluated as a proficient art teacher for the 2017-2018 academic year. Alongside her teaching responsibilities, Ms. Zhou has showcased her artistic talents through participation in both group and solo art shows, demonstrating her commitment to both teaching and creating art.

  • With a Bachelor's degree in Basic Pharmacy from China Pharmaceutical University and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Northeastern University, Ms. Hu's academic journey reflects her commitment to the sciences. However, driven by her passion for art, she made a transition to the creative realm and joined 101 Art Studio in 2019. Now serving as assistant manager, Ms. Hu brings a unique blend of scientific rigor and artistic flair to her role, enriching the studio's environment with her diverse background and dedication to the arts.

    Ms. G is an experienced art educator with a passion for nurturing creativity in her students. With four years of teaching experience in the art field and an additional year focused on English instruction, she brings a well-rounded perspective to the classroom. Ms. G is skilled in a variety of artistic mediums, including painting, sketching, sculpting, and digital art. Her dedication to her craft is evident through her participation in numerous national art competitions, such as Peace Pal International, Scholastic Art, and Doodle for Google. Through her teaching and artistic endeavors, Ms. G inspires her students to explore their creativity and strive for excellence.

    Ms. Chen, an accomplished art educator, holds a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a minor in Photography from Montserrat College of Art. With two years of experience in Web Design and Branding Design, she brings practical expertise to her teaching. Ms. Chen's artwork has graced the walls of the prestigious 301 Gallery in Beverly, showcasing her talent and dedication. Through her passion for art and design, she guides students to explore their creativity and develop their skills with enthusiasm.

    Ms. Peng, an esteemed art educator, graduated from Boston University with a degree in Visual Arts and holds an Art Therapy Certificate from New York University. Proficient in painting, printmaking, sketching, and various art forms, she brings a diverse skill set to her teaching. Ms. Peng's artwork has been featured in five gallery exhibitions, and she has contributed to two international and one domestic art projects. Passionate about the therapeutic potential of art, she inspires her students to explore creativity for self-expression and healing.

    Ms. Sandy, a dedicated art educator, brings a unique blend of academic expertise and teaching experience to her role. Currently pursuing a primary major in Mathematics and a secondary major in Psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, her diverse academic background enriches her approach to teaching art. Since February 2019, Ms. Sandy has served as a teaching assistant, where she applies her passion for education to support students' learning journeys. With her multidisciplinary perspective and commitment to fostering creativity, Ms. Sandy inspires her students to explore art with enthusiasm and confidence.

Currently enrolled in Honors Art at school, she has garnered several art awards, reflecting her talent and commitment. While proficient in various art mediums, Ms. Su gravitates towards painting and sketching. With her patient demeanor, she establishes a supportive learning environment, particularly adept at working with children. Fluent in both Chinese and English, Ms. Su ensures effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds. As a former and current student of 101 Art Studio, she brings firsthand experience to her teaching, enriching her students' learning journey.

Her artistic skills has been showcased with two featured works in 'The Bridge' art magazine. Proficient in drawing, oil and acrylic painting, digital art, and graphic design, Ms. Mollie brings a diverse skill set to her teaching. With five years of experience working with children aged 5-14, she is dedicated to nurturing young talents and fostering their creativity in the realm of art.

She actively contributed to the Handel and Haydn Society's The Creation Project, demonstrating her commitment to artistic exploration. Proficient in digital art, charcoal, and ceramics, Ms. Yuting possesses a versatile skill set. With 1.5 years of experience working with children from K-6, she is dedicated to nurturing young artists and fostering their creativity.

Proficient in painting with watercolor, acrylic, and gouache, as well as drawing with charcoal and graphite, Ms. Mei also boasts expertise in digital art and design. Her comics are currently available in stores, showcasing her creative talent. With 20 months of experience teaching and tutoring children both in person and online, Ms. Mei is dedicated to inspiring and empowering the next generation of artists.

    Ms. Rafaela is a passionate art teacher at 101 Art Studio, currently in my sophomore year at the University of Massachusetts Boston pursuing a career in studio art and cinema studies. With a proven track record of success, Rafaela has earned recognition through the award of two prestigious Art scholarships SAVIO and Walker, and a sought-after internship at the Isabella Stewart Garner Museum for the Summer of 2024, further honing their skills and expertise in the field of art. With a deep love for creativity and expression, Rafaela brings a fresh perspective to the world of art education, helping students find their style as artists. Guiding students through the intricacies of various mediums, from paintbrush to charcoal, she ignites sparks of inspiration and fosters the growth of students at different levels. With enthusiasm and dedication, she creates a welcoming and nurturing environment where students feel encouraged to explore their artistic potential.
